X-men the animated series 1992 questions

Post by NoobageEncoder »

So, I have some disc nstc, and some PAl as there is a volume or 2 thats $50-$100 in USA. pal was like $0.50 :)

This is about the Jetix Marvel X-men Season2 volume 1 and volume 2. (pal)

There are 6 to 7 episodes each volume but volume 1 has double the episodes, with different segment maps.

example same ep, same sound options and subs:
Title information
Source title ID: 6
Duration: 0:21:14
Chapters count: 2
Size: 1.1 GB
Segment count: 1
Segment map: 7-8
File name: title07.mkv

Title information
Source title ID: 5
Duration: 0:21:17
Chapters count: 3
Size: 1.1 GB
Segment count: 1
Segment map: 5-9
File name: title01.mkv

There is also an odd track on each vol, on vol 2 it comes before the files get saved as huge all in one tracks. Whats odd is it saves 3 different all in one tracks each 6.4gb and different segment maps.

odd track:
Title information
Source title ID: 17
Duration: 0:04:48
Chapters count: 1
Size: 9.3 MB
Segment count: 1
Segment map: 1
File name: title13.mkv

It completely empty black.
On vol 1 the odd track and the next 3 will not rip. the next 3 titles are 1.1-1.2gb but all error out.

It seems I have the episodes by them self I am just wanting to know what is going on, and if maybe I should be using the bigger all in one file and splitting it.

Help, Let me know if you need logs or scans or something.

The "black tracks", found on many titles, seem to be slide shows intended to play on a DVD/BD player. Sometimes, when you play them on VLC, you'll see all the pictures flash by in a fraction of a second, then the progress bar continues to move, showing you black.

I ignore them.

The dups just have "Jetix" animation added on to the end lol. The longer ones are like marathon mode. I just had to set and watch one out of order XD, I will have it forgotten by the time i watch the show from start to finish for the first time in my life.

Thanks for the tip about the black screen, I would not have caught that.
