3D Bluray back up not working with v 1.12.3

I've tried backing up four different 3D disks, none which work using MakeMKV 1.12.3. Drive is LG BW-16D1HT on 3.00. All I get is "Back up failed." I hadn't opened the disks prior to trying to create the back up. There doesn't seem to be any error log in in the .MakeMKV on the C: drive. Is this a known issue?
