just a suggestion is their any way to make the program faster read and write to and from the source/destination.

Faster hardware.

MakeMKV can already read optical media as fast as the drive will allow, and write it out fast enough to require at least a gigabit network to avoid network saturation. And you can run multiple copies of it to rip more than one disk at a time... which comes in handy when there's a stack of about 200 disks to rip.
