Latest version of MakeMKV (1.12.3) and Java version is 1.8.0_181-b13, but no feature movie listed. Link to zip with non-decrypted full disc backup (minus stream folder) and log file.

No mention of Java being invoked in the log, so it was probably unnecessary?
It may not solve the issue, but there are problems w/ BDs & the latest MakeMKV version... try installing v1.12.2.
Link to old versions in my sig.

thanks. Tried versions 1.12.2, 1.12.1, and 1.12.0 from my own backups. Same result. Actually back in October of last year with v1.10.1, I sent this same report to MakeMKV Support email and I was told that it was a really old disc that was not detected by MakeMKV and should be fixed in the next version. I was posting the same report in the forum (updated to latest version of MakeMKV) in case my original report somehow got lost.
I've also tried a custom path on both PCs for Java under Preferences > Protection. Same result.
Just to make sure Java detection was still working, I decided to pull out a couple of movies that had fake playlists that I had successfully saved before, John Wick and John Wick Chapter 2. When I spin up either disc in MakeMKV on either PC, I get this (with or without the custom path):
Using Java runtime from C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_181\bin\java.exe
and when they're done loading, I see the FPL_MainFeature for both, so I know the Java detection part is working.

I tried another program and it gave 2 "good" playlists, 876 and 743. In MakeMKV, both 876 & 743 have the exact same segment order, duration, chapters and size. I successfully saved 743, but I haven't watched it in full to verify that there's no issues.

876 is the correct one, it includes the Director Commentary track, along with the other audio tracks.
743 is not correct, but I think it gives exactly the same movie, just with no commentary track, and a ton of duplicate subtitle files.
Note that 876 includes the commentary as an audio track, and as a subtitle track.
