Hi,
several years ago i have bought a key and registered makemkv on ubuntu. I have no clue what the key was, what email i got it from, of where it is stored on the disk. the software does not show any hints. Is it possible to move the licence to a nwe installation?
Thank you very much!
Move Licenced Version from old Installation
Re: Move Licenced Version from old Installation
IF the old installation is available, you can copy/paste the key from the 'Help' > 'Register' menu item. If not, shoot an email to: support@makemkv.com
Re: Move Licenced Version from old Installation
And the registration key would have arrived in an email from "avangate.com".

Thanks!
I found traces in my archive from 2013 , but only the header not the full mail. Pushing the button worked, i didn't try it because i was afraid to de-register it...
Anyway, i ran into the sam Problem as in the Miint 19 Post:
Application failed to initialize
I am on a German Ubuntu 16.04 Mate installation. And: Thank you for maintaining a Linux version!
