makeMKV as BR.player???

Hi, I just want to use makeMKV to playback BR-(Video-) Discs (Snow Leopard):
is this possible?
how do I have to use the app?

There is a thread over on the plex forum where someone has created a blu-ray plugin which uses makemkv + vlc somehow.

I do not know of the details but check over there ... It might work for you.

Yes, open the disc in MakeMKV and select "stream". From there you can watch blu-ray in Plex or via VLC ( or with any player that can play M2TS files). You need a pretty fast machine for that, or you can stream between computers in home network.
