Noticed in my logs that my java path was wrong. Fixed that and makeMKV picked it up on it's own.

This is what makeMKV picked up as the main feature

How did you set up the Java Runtime environment? I've tried a few guides but can't get it to work.

View -> Preferences -> Protection

In the "Custom Java executable location" field, enter the path to java.exe.
Mine is: C:/Program Files (x86)/Java/jre1.8.0_171/bin/java.exe

I'm not sure if it requires the jre version of java or not, but it's what I have.

There is no need to specify Java in the MakeMKV settings. This is only needed if it is a "non standard" Java installation.

MakeMKV finds Java by itself. Messages in the log shows the detection (only if Java is needed). I've nothing specified in MakeMKV and only a normal JRE installed and it works.
Good Luck :)

I have Java installed and the correct location in MakeMKV and it did not read Early Man and give me any indication of what the correct playlist is. It's frustrating trying to get this stupid and useless "protection" thing worked out. I mean it doesn't stop me from figuring it out, just makes it less than easy so why even bother??? Ugh.
