Hi there, it seems silly to say this but I only learned of makemkv about a week ago.
I see some forum posts here that date back to 2009!
Is there a posted roadmap anywhere of what future things are planned for makemkv?
I'd be interested if backup to iso file is anywhere in the future.
Also, I'm happy to pay for it, as it seems reasonably priced, but I wonder if anyone with more experience can tell me if there are any gotchas I should know about.

is there a makemkv roadmap?
Re: is there a makemkv roadmap?
Backup to ISO is not something Mike has ever discussed.
The direction MakeMKV goes depends upon what the BD industry comes up with.

Also doesn't make much sense since the disks themselves aren't ISO9660, but UDF.Woodstock wrote:Backup to ISO is not something Mike has ever discussed.
Wouldn't mind the ability to create a single UDF 1:1 dump of the data on the disc though for backups, it would circumvent the overhead of creating a ton of tiny files, which tends to make reading speeds fall into the ~100 K/s range.
