Better thing he can do is to crossflash it to other similar devices (LG).

Try this :

32 BIT

64 BIT

Open an elevated command prompt and type :

flasher -D to display the Asus Drive ID.

Then type

flasher -d [drive id] -l firmware.bin 6 00000000 00200000

Then send me the firmware.bin and I'll do the rest for a proper firmware flash dump !!!

P.S.
You can download it also from https://github.com/devilsclaw/flasher/releases

@DracUK

Please, if you have time and if you follow my instructions, do a firmware dump for our community. :wink:

Would be great, just tried myself with the 3.0.0 from myce, ended up killing the drive, but always a good thing dosflash could wake it to life again

Send me your dump or the one of your friend if you need a valid 3.00 firmware to be flashed.

Reviving an old topic, but did anyone have a clean 3.0 firmware for this drive, so I could use Teddy's rom EEPROM data mover to downgrade the firmware on my drive to 3.0.

Thanks
