M4V to MKV?
Two days ago, I tried to convert M4V to MKV with Handbrake, but I failed. Anyone know what happened? Or any suggestions?

Handbrake support is found at https://forum.handbrake.fr , and you will need your encode logs to get help. Their posting template has links to where you can find your logs.
That said, going from MP4 to MKV, you could do that with mkvmerge from mkvtoolnix (Google knows where they are). Load the file into the mkvmerge GUI, specify an output file name, and click on start. It is very fast, and there is no change in the audio/video quality, since everything is simply changed from MP4 container to MKV.
