Hello
i downloaded a 1.4.(?) version some time ago and it worked just fine (28 out of 28 Blu ray discs were converted fast und without problems)
I considered buying it,
but with the latest Version NOTHING works any more. (0 out of ~10 Discs until now)
It allways begins to rip, gets stuck, the blu ray drive stops and the process hung up and the light of my HDD is always on...
Happens between 50 and 99 %.
My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Intel C2D E8600
8GB RAM
LG CH10LS20 with anti riplock firmware
New Version works badly here
Re: New Version works badly here
I have the same drive, and 1.5.6 works just fine for all of my dvd's and blurays under linux and windows 7 x64. So the problem is likely on your side.
drive going bad, disks dirty.. etc.. etc..

Hi!
Sounds like your system may be overheating...

is your system overclocked?
Re: New Version works badly here
Hmm, OK then i ve got a problem here.
The system is not overclocked and the drive gets not very warm @ ripping.
The discs are also clean and not scratched.
I already tried to update the firmware again. (riplock)
But that can't be the problem either, because i updated it before i startet with ripping.
The first Blu rays were ripped very fast (7x-9x) and correctly.
Then since the new version it always hangs up
I think i just made a noob mistake, because you have the same drive and it works.
When it happens the drive is totally dead, no light no reaction.
I already checked the Sata Power Cable 10 times.

I still think your SYSTEM (not necessarily your drive) is overheating...
Re: New Version works badly here
But when it happens I ve got the following Temps:
CPU 30°C
GPU 45°C
HDD 28°C
The 8 GB Ram had the temperature of the Room (26°C)

Well, based on your numbers, it appears that my speculation was incorrect.
Have you tried running a memory test, to see if you have any bad RAM?
