Cars DVD not working

I am trying to rip "Cars" by Pixar, but can never get the main movie to work. All the extras work, but not the one 6 GB file for the actual movie. The disc is in pretty good shape (i've gotten worse looking discs to work). I've tried 2 different dvd drives and my blu-ray drive. This is what it gives me:

The Cars DVD is not a tough nut to crack - it's been ripped by a lot of people, including me.

However, your drive has an issue with the particular one you're trying to rip:

First thing to do is to clean and inspect the disk itself. You have unreadable areas on the disk. Your drive should not be timing out on them, though - it should continue to communicate with the operating system, even if it is retrying the read.
