Re: Dolby Vision?
Dolby Vision is metadata on top of HDR10, which is also metadata. You can’t separate the metadata if you can’t decode it.
It’ll copy over, but probably won’t play unless you do pass through to a Dolby Vision TV. Currently no program can decide the Dolby Vision layer.

Re: Dolby Vision?
actually Dolby Vision is a Seperate Video Track:angelgraves13 wrote:Dolby Vision is metadata on top of HDR10, which is also metadata. You can’t separate the metadata if you can’t decode it.

when trying to use the other brand UHD ripper it says dolby vision is unsuppported and will be removed.

Re: Dolby Vision?
It seems you're right. Dolby Vision is a separate video track, so it is unlikely we will be able to remux it. There is currently no way to decode Dolby Vision in software as the standard is not open and no specification is available for reverse engineering. Never say never though....

Re: Dolby Vision?
Where do we send dumps? I badly want Dolby Vision support.
Re: Dolby Vision?
You need to read Mike’s post above. He explicitly provides instructions where to send them.buffalo master wrote:Where do we send dumps? I badly want Dolby Vision support.
