Downloaded 1.5.7 for OS X last night and now I'm getting a "Failed to open disc" error when I try to open a blu-ray disc. I get a prompt about the evaluation period expiring but I can continue on (I got same error in the the older version I had but still could rip).
output:

I tried this on Alice in Wonderland at first, but then on a Harry Potter Blu-ray I previously ripped in an older version of the app.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I installed MakeMKV in a Parallels WinXP virtual machine and was able to open and rip the same Blu-ray (Alice in Wonderland) fine.
Was the Beta evaluation key on my Mac not correctly reset maybe?

Found a similar thread about the beta key's not resetting and a beta key given to use until July 2010.
Plugged that in and all is working well now.
