Error msg: "Too old" despite being on the latest

Upon launching MakeMKV, I get an error message saying that the version I'm using is too old and should be updated. I went to the site and downloaded the latest version and it appeared to update correctly (and uninstalled the older version), but I continue to get the same message.

Any suggestions anyone can offer me? (It would be hugely appreciated!! )
