Current MakeMKV version will not run

I started up MakeMKV and received the 'software to old' message. I uninstalled that version, downloaded and installed the latest version. I still receive that message. I am on Windows 7, it has been updated, I did reboot after uninstalling the old version and before I installed the current version.

Any help is appreciated.

Same problem here, not sure what's changed in the past couple days. This bought me what looks like another month or so at least: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053

I had the same problem so I just went ahead and dropped the $50 for it. I had it free for a year now, I think that's enough.

Great....that did work. I completely forgot that only beta was free and once out of beta, it become 'for profit' software.

My only question then becomes, I run both Linux and Windows, although my intent is to essentially abandon Windows once I retire...will the cost cover both or must I pay for each version?

The registration key works for all three versions of MakeMKV.
