#1 Post by Bartleby191 » Tue Aug 08, 2017 6:14 am

So I am finding an issue where any Blu-Ray I put in isn't being "Found" It just says No disc Inserted
Anyone else seeing this issue?

Assuming this is a BD player (you haven't said what drive is involved), "No disk" is usually an issue with the operating system preventing access.

But there is not much to work from in your message.

Are you running MakeMKV with administrator privileges, or as a normal user?

Normally, if you can access DVDs, you should be able to access BDs. There are some operations that require higher privileges to do (key exchanges), but you would get error messages about that, rather than "no disk".

When this happens, can you read the disk with Windows Explorer? Or does Explorer say "Please insert a disk" when you click on the BD?

I had a similar issue, and it seems that sometimes the BD functions will fail.

Does your drive work with other programs when you use BD media? If not, you might need a replacement drive.
