Rottatouille: Makes MakeMKV not respond

Rottatouille: Makes MakeMKV not respond

Im trying to convert Rottatouille, but every single time the program just goes into a "Not responding" state.

OS: Windows 7, 64bit
MakeMKV: 1.5.6
Title: Rottatouille
DVD Region: 2 (Norway)

Is this DVD know for having problems, i have tried using different versions of MakeMKV to no vail :(

Hi!

Sounds like a dirty or physically damaged disc.

Have you successfully used MakeMKV with other DVDs?

I dont believe it can be any of these things, because i have two completely new disc of the same movie, same result with both.

And yes i have other movies that convert without problem... :)

As a means of determining whether your drive may be problematic, see if you obtain the same results by trying to rip the same "Ratatouille" DVD(s) with a different (current) ripping program, such as the freeware version of DVD95Copy or DVDFab ("DVDFabHD" is the freeware version)...

I suspect a mastering error may be to blame....

Is the disc a dual layer recordable burn of a previously ripped image of the same disc?

Do you have any freeware realtime copy protection strippers/emulators running in the background?
