I recently ripped a collection of blurays in MKV to edit, and upon finding that NOTHING supports MKV for editting am trying again.
I found the backup tool and will be using that instead.
Possibly a silly question, but is there a reason why I wouldn't check the "decrypt video files" option?
What's the purpose of not decrypting a backup?
Thanks

Re: Backups and Encryption
Not a silly question. But some people, for some reason, might want to keep the encryption.
I cannot think of a GOOD reason to do so, but maybe I'm just not playing in the same box that they keep their thoughts in.

Re: Backups and Encryption
Thanks for the help! I couldn't think of any good reason to restrict myself by keeping encryption, but having the option to keep it was too puzzling not to find an answer too. Thanks again.
