Hello,
Last night I was trying to rip my blu-ray of Ice Age Continental Drift and MakeMKV gave me a bunch of IO Errors about half way through and failed. I know this has to do with reading the disc and the disc is in perfect condition but I know it has something to do with the disc. Unless someone has insight to that (I probably have to post my logs which are at home and I can) my question is around the backup I made.
I made a decrypted backup of the disc and now I have this Ice Age Continental Drift folder on my computer with some subfolders. How do I get the movie from this folder into an MKV or MP4 container so it can be played by Plex?
Thanks for any help.
Disc Read Error - Made Backup - Now What?

Yes, please post your logfile.
If you successfully made a back up (BDMV folder structure); open MakeMKV, go to the File tab, then Open Files. Select the main movie folder, then the BDMV folder, then either the "index.bdmv" or "MovieObject.bdmv". Should now open like the disc.

Re: Disc Read Error - Made Backup - Now What?
I ran it again last night to get the logfile to post and it only had one error but did not fail. The only thing I did different was change my read retry from 5 to 25 as suggested in the FAQ. I played the movie and it seems to have worked.yorgo wrote:Yes, please post your logfile.
