Dvd Menu command does not appear

Hello,
I have an Imac running El Capitan 10.11 and recently purchased a external Blu-Ray player.
I installed MakeMKV and got VLC (Version 2.2.4) playing Blu-Rays now.

Only one small problem. The movie menu screen does not appear and I can’t access it at all. The movie begins instantly.
The Dvd Menu command doesn't appear in VLC>Playback>Title>

When I play DVD movies its works fine and I can the access the dvd menu.
Its seems to only happen with my Blu-Ray discs.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Best guess is that VLC assumes you want to play the main feature, and goes directly to it.

You might check VLC's preferences and see if there is a setting to use the menus.
