I'm getting this error when I am attempting to decrypt Death Parade on BluRay:
Using direct disc access mode
This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting /a/?1dXV1dWtNJL6w7...
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
just wondering if there's a patch or update I need to do or if this disc isn't able to be ripped?
Thanks

A lot depends upon whether or not you're running a current version of MakeMKV. Version 1.10.4 will handle AACS versions up through 63, but versions prior to 1.10.2 could not.
Did you click the link that was provided in the log, to upload the information necessary to deal with the AACS version? Did you get a message during start-up about a newer version being available?

I will need to check. I think i saw a message saying i could upgrade versions, so that i most likely my issue. I will try that out and get back to you. Thank you for the assistance.
Yes i also clicked the link to provide feedback to makeMKV about the error.
