I´m running MKV 1.10.4 and keep getting Scsi errors al the time when trying to rip a BR disc.
Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT ESTABLISHED' occurred while issuing SCSI command AD010..080002400 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0'
Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT ESTABLISHED' occurred while issuing SCSI command AD010..080002400 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0'
Error 'Internal error - Operation was cancelled (66)' occurred while issuing SCSI command A40..002007401 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0'
Highest AACS version is v62 , MKB saved as C:\Users\Mattias Eriksson/.MakeMKV/MKB_v62_The_Nice_Guys.tgz
Failed to open disc
The problem is intermittent and have no connection to a special movie, if i close the program and restart it i can usaly copy the disc without any problems.
The disc this log was copied from was True Detectiv S01 Disc 3
AACS v46
Any Thoughts?
Regards
SCSI Error
Re: SCSI Error
Are there any errors at "loading disk" stage, before you ask MakeMKV to scan it?

Re: SCSI Error
I´m afraid it´s after i loaded the disk, it´s during the reading process when it gets the playlist.Woodstock wrote:Are there any errors at "loading disk" stage, before you ask MakeMKV to scan it?
Sometimes i dont even have to restart the program i just have to stop the reading and restart it.

Re: SCSI Error
I too have been getting these errors after updating this week. Every other disc get at least one of these errors. Very frustrating.
Re: SCSI Error
"at least one of these errors"... "Very frustrating."
It's frustratingly hard to offer suggestions without specific information.
Different errors mean different possibilities. If, for example, you get an error that says:
The change list on the download page, /download/ , list the highest AACS version that MakeMKV works with. version 1.10.4 handles v62 (I've got v62 disks), so long as it can properly read the beginning of the disk. And if there are v62 disks that are still unreadable due to key exchange issues, then the file MakeMKV generates should still be forwarded to svq@makemkv.com for analysis.
Read errors prior to the key exchange will break the key exchange, so they should be dealt with using methods outlined here: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15055
