I'm trying to set up a procedure that uses the log that's created when the disc is opened as an aid to documenting what's what on a particular disc. (As a backup in case I ever have to rip that disc again). I'm noticing that the log is not always correct. For example, a disc I'm working on right now has the following log entries:
MakeMKV v1.10.4 win(x64-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
File 00001.mpls was added as title #0
Title #00010.mpls has length of 10 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 15 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00014.mpls was added as title #1
File 00015.mpls was added as title #2
Title #00016.mpls has length of 10 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 15 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00018.mpls was added as title #3
File 00019.mpls was added as title #4
File 00002.mpls was added as title #5
File 00003.mpls was added as title #6
Title #00011.mpls has length of 10 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 15 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #00012.mpls has length of 10 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 15 seconds and was therefore skipped
File 00420.mpls was added as title #7
File 00421.mpls was added as title #8
...
Title 6 is correct, but title 7 is actually file 421.mpls. Title 8 is 422.mpls, and so on. Every entry from this point forward is shifted in this way. Anybody else trying to use this log to do anything that matters?
Errors in Open Disc Log
Re: Errors in Open Disc Log
Send the log and files asked for in the FAQ link in my signature to support@makemkv.com so that Mike can look at them, please. That's really the only way to find out if it is correct or a problem.
