Confused about my purchase

I paid $50 for MakeMKV and used the activation key on my laptop. I wanted to also use it on my Dell deskiop. After I installed MakeMKV on the desktop I tried to use the same key. I got an error that the key was invalid. How can that be? Do I need to spend another $50 for another activation key? I'm not going to do that.

Help please.

Make sure when you paste the key into MakeMKV, you ONLY get the key itself, and not any formatting codes... This is a problem with some email programs.

I've found the safest thing to do is to open notepad.exe, copy the key out of email and FIRST paste it into the notepad window. Then, highlight the key in notepad, copy it to the clipboard, and THEN paste it into MakeMKV.
