Bond 50 - Die Another Day - Which angle?

#1 Post by Smithcraft » Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:18 am

So I made the power push and finished ripping all of the Bond 50 set.

When I ripped Die Another Day, it had two main features, both the same time, one listed as Angle 1 and the other as Angle 2 for the same title(99) with the same odd segments and different even segments.

When I checked at the AVS BD Info, I saw that the title was the same, but the file size was about 10 GB larger so I'm not sure it's useful for this particular BD.

I would have tried to play it back to see which one I wanted(I ripped both), but I wanted to get the set done.

So, which version did you use?

Going through all the files, and angle 1 is the movie, and angle 2 is the PIP with interviews from the crew.

I'm doing the same thing--it's a LOT of ripping, not to mention wear and tear on the blu-ray drive. It's too bad there isn't some way to pop in the disc, and check the 'net to see if someone else has already ripped it, and just share and share alike. :-)

Thanks very much - you sure saved me time and hassle on this one! :)

This forum is absolutely invaluable, with information about DVDs and Blu-rays that you just can't find anywhere else.
