I'm experiencing the same thing. The tsmuxer workaround still works though.

FYI, I'm still seeing this "choppy playback" problem with VC-1 encoded discs under MakeMKV v1.4.0 beta. Do you know yet what the issue is, or have any plans or timetable for a fix?

Thanks!

This is finally corrected in 1.4.1. All VC-1 titles should play correctly from now on.

It should have been 1.4.1. My mistake.

Confirmed, 1.4.1 fixed the problems I was previously seeing on my VC-1 titles. Thanks!

Hi All, I believe there is still a issue with Blu-Ray ripped movies, I have just ripped 4 movies at home, and two worked & the other two gives me choppy playback 100% of the time. I have ripped them 3 times with the same output.

If I play all the movies in the normal Blu-Ray ripped format off the hard-drive, it all works perfect, when I convert to MKV(1.4.2), two of the movies become very choppy on the playback ?

One thing I also noticed, the movies that worked, seam to be running thru my video card (ATI HD 3850, 512mb Ram) when I use Media Player Classic (v1.2.908.0 in EVR mode, I get very low CPU usage), the other two I get very high CPU and choppy playback ?

I have tried all the normal. Change video drivers back about 10 versions, but I think the key is in the playback high CPU issue.. any ideas ?

Casino Royal works perfect.
Video : MPEG4 (H264) 1920x1080 23.98fps
Audio : Dolby AC3 48000HZ 6ch

Quantum of Solace, very choppy.
Video : MPEG4 (H264) 1920x1080 23.98fps
Audio : DTS 48000HZ 6ch

Transformers works perfect.
Video : MPEG4 (H264) 1920x1080 23.98fps
Audio : Dolby AC3 48000HZ 6ch

Black Hawk Down , very choppy.
Video : MPEG2 1920x1080 23.98fps
Audio : Dolby AC3 48000HZ 6ch

My Specs : 2 x Xeon 2.81GHz with Hypertask (Quad CPU’s), RAM 2GB
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit, running windows Media Center
4 SATA HD’s, total 3TB. Video Card : ATI 3850 HD, 512k Ram
