Not able to copy BluRay with AACS v48

Unfortunately I cannot copy a BluRay with AACS v48 to my computer.

About 100 Discs I own, I have already copied to my NAS. I did not have a look at the AACS Version so far,
but support for AACS v48 was given by makemkv already in 2014.

Does anyone have an idea, how I can solve this problem?

I just checked that I already copied discs with AACS v51.
So may be the disc is defect ?

This does not appear to be an encryption issue but rather a problem with the disc, or possibly the drive. Please see this post: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15055

BTW, what version of MakeMKV are you on?

I'm on the actual Version 1.10.2. x64.

Yeah seems to be the disc indeed.. I tried several other ones and it worked again without problems.

Unfortunately, my drive does not have any new firmware, so it seems that disks newer as AASC v58 might not work again in the future...

If your drive gets an AACS revocation update, it will stop working with ANY version of AACS, until the application using the revoked key gets a new key. So if it were a revocation issue, you would only be able to rip DVDs in that drive until MakeMKV was updated.

But most AACS changes do not revoke playback keys, apparently; They just change the encryption key. And MakeMKV 1.10.2 know about all the keys through AACS v62, so decryption should not be an issue, so long as the drive can read the disk without error. Yours is saying it can't, and that the drive is reporting "not ready" at times.

Is it an external or internal drive?

It is an internal drive and all discs were read before this one
