Central Intelligence can't be decrypted

Post by nemike » Wed Oct 26, 2016 12:18 am

I uploaded a BD+ dump for Central Intelligence at 8pm EST today.

Here is the makemkv output from v1.10.0, I'm not using the latest due to the Default destination bug...

This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting xxxxxxxxxxxxxx...
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

Thanks, Mike

I was able to rip this today, no issue. Watched it as well and found nothing out of the ordinary.

I'd suggest trying 1.10.2 as it added support for AACS v62; 1.10.0 only went to v61.

Perhaps Mike can verify but I assume just because a dump is sent in and SVQ is updated, MakeMKV may still only decrypt a new disc with latest protection scheme if using the latest version if MakeMKV.

You guys were right, that was the problem, needed the latest version, now we REALLY need the default destination bug fixed!
