Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no FUT
Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no FUT
An US version Bluray title is just found without FUT when it comes to BD+ protection. Dump file sent to svq@makemkv.com. When backup is completed, the BDMV plays with problem.
Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
Curiously, my X-Men Apocalypse (US) experienced same BD+ protection from same distributor as this Independence Day Resurgence but that worked in makemkv when I backup into BDMV folder few days ago.

Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
Anyone figure this out, I cant play my copy on any of my players and ripping it to try to play it left a graphic mess for picture. I don't know if its a bad copy or the encryption is so screwed up it made it unplayable regardless.
Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
If you got the "No FUTs" message, you're still waiting for the BD+ "encryption" to be figured out.
Make sure you have Preferences->General->Allow contacting web server for updates checked, and try the rip periodically. Once Mike creates the SVQ file for this particular BD+ version, it will just "work" one day.

Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
People trying to rip certain titles before street date might be facing street lock protection.
Today is only Wednesday - the movie officially came out Tuesday (yesterday) - stating the obvious like "still doesn't work" will not make it go faster.

Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
Never heard of such a thing. Besides, this title is out there, long before street date.Krawk wrote:People trying to rip certain titles before street date might be facing street lock protection.
Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
Same thing here. The copy I got was the Blu Ray disc from the Ultra HD 4K Blu Ray pack, yes it was the regular Blu Ray. Not sure if this will be useful but it played fine in my internet connected player but on my computer PowerDVD required me to obtain a code and enter it before it would play the blu ray. Sent in the dump file.
Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
Looks like it is working now, no longer getting the error
Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
Still the same "no FUT" error, (regular Dutch Blu-Ray 1080p) send a new dump file. (now the right one )daithen wrote:Looks like it is working now, no longer getting the error

Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
From what I can tell from quickly watching the mpls files, 601 and 602 are identical so I don't think it matters, but I make no guarantees.
Re: Independence Day Resurgence - BD+ code processed but no
I used the first one, I am not sure which one it was off the top of my head and that worked flawlessly last night.
