Both MakeMKV and my laptop cannot access the Blue Ray inserted disk!

Does your laptop have a Blu-Ray drive or is it a DVD drive?
Is the laptop a PC or Mac?
What is the disc?

That explains it......your drive will not be able to mount/read Blu Ray discs since it's DVD only.
Invest in a drive that can do both.
