Make sure you have debug logging turned on, and post the full log in a reply. This error is usually the result of other errors during the initial loading of the disk, and without that information, it is hard to say what the issue is.

Ich kann die BD ebenfalls nicht rippen. Das Scannen der BD hängt bei der Datei /AACS/Content000.cer, Bei mir kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:

This indicates that the disk has a newer version of AACS than is supported by version 1.10.1, probably v62. The link in the log should be clicked on to report it to Mike.

Also, in your MakeMKV data directory (found in Preferences->General), there should be a file for this disk, with a name that starts with "MKB_v". That .tgz file should be sent to svq@makemkv.com so that Mike can examine it. It will help with getting the issue resolved.

And I found another title with v62 (Labyrinth of Grisaia + Eden of Grisaia) that will be officially released in late September. I've sent everything to Mike for that title, as well.

Unfortunately, it was the FIRST set of disks I put in to rip today, so one of my machines is unavailable for BD ripping until Mike releases an update.

Gods of Egypt 2D German version is also AACS v62.
How long does it usually take to implement the new keys?

After I posted my reply, I found out that AACS v62 does NOT revoke the key MakeMKV uses, so older BDs can still be ripped. It just introduces another encryption key.

Mike is aware of this, and has examples from at least 3 of us for the encryption key information. When he gets it into MakeMKV is probably "soon", but he didn't say anything to me about a time table.

Thanks for the reply. Good to know it's in the works, I assume we will see more 62s in the near future.
Please allow me a technical question: if a key is revoking the drives key, when does that happen? Right when I insert the disk or when I try to rip it?

Loading the disk in the drive is enough to update the revocation table. You would instantly lose the ability to read ANY BD in that drive, no matter what version of AACS is on the disk. DVDs would still work, though.

Which is why I hate seeing the "newer version AACS" message, especially on my two fastest ripping drives, when I've got 8 more disks to rip.
