Errors Converting "The Strain" Season 1 Disc 1.

Only one of the 4 titles on the disc was able to be converted. Below I'm pasting the log of what happened. I was hoping to be able to watch these episodes on my iPhone. I'm doing the conversion on a MacBook Pro and using an external USB3 Blu-ray drive.

I was able to convert Disc 2 of this series, and one of the titles, Season 1 - Episode 1, that won't convert plays normally on my Sony Blu-ray player.

Your drive is having trouble reading the disk.

I know the regulars around here are getting irritated with this response, but....

Clean the disk. More and more, disks coming out of packages have a thin film of chemicals from when they're being packaged that disrupts the laser, but looks perfectly clean. A damp, soft cloth will remove it, most of the time.

I'll give it a shot when I get home, although I would have thought that a dirty disc would have failed on the Sony BDR player as well.

There was still one title that didn't want to convert after cleaning, then I remembered I had an older Read-only drive. Used that one and it converted the title.
