Wanting to buy MakeMKV? Had a couple question.

#1 Post by jedity17 » Wed Aug 24, 2016 1:26 am

I have been using the beta version for a little bit to back up my dvds. I was curious when I buy full version to back up blu rays, how do i know it will work, because when i put the in now it says no disc. I just want to make sure it will work before i buy it. Does anybody if it doesn't work of there is a refund policy. Thanks for the help and time. Im guessing what im asking is do i have to have a blu ray drive on my computer. When i checked the system info i didnt see anything that said blu ray.

The registered version is the same program, just a long-lasting authorization key. That is, you don't have to enter a new key every 60 days or so.

If you're getting "No Disk" right now, your operating system is not letting MakeMKV see when the disk is loaded, which is a separate issue.

I have NO clue what Mike's policy is on refunds.
