Need advise

I love MKV, have used it for months and happily purchased a license a few weeks ago as it has always worked perfectly for ripping Blu-rays for me. A few days ago however it started failing on every attempt. I can load the disk and select my title, but it fails consistently about a third of the way into the process. My setup hasn't changed, Win7 64, Samsung external BR drive. I've tried several disks, tried Flac on advanced mode, just not sure where to go at this point, I'll buy a new drive if needed, but it's fairly new and seems to read Dvd's with no issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If "every disk" fails, it is possibly the drive. If it cannot seek beyond a certain range, "every disk" that has content past that point would fail. HOWEVER, they would normally report a SEEK failure, not a read error.

The error messages in your post are more consistent with "dirt", usually on the disk (fingerprints count).

Do you get the same errors when trying to rip a DVD?

Are the files you are ripping larger than about 25GB (4.7GB on DVD)? (this would indicate the laser cannot switch between layers)
