Heartland Season 3 subtitles

I've been getting Heartland put onto my media server in no particular order...

Seasons 1, 2, 7, and 8 plus the Christmas special all had subtitles "seen" by makeMKV.

Season 3, however, has subtitles, I can turn them on in PowerDVD... but makeMKV does not see them at all.

What am I missing? Or are there special cases where I must do something else to extract them?

Debug logs would help... to a certain extent. But you might have to send the information mentioned in the FAQ link in my signature might be needed.

All too often, "bug" is user ignorance, so thought I'd start with simply asking just in case that was the deal.
