I have a whole set of BD I would like to rip to a HD to save space on the Bookshelf. I got a Surface 3 Pro running Windows 10 and downloaded the shareware to try. It seemed to be working fine but refused to write to the disc. Is this a known problem? I wanted to try again today but now the 1 month evaluation period is over.
Two questions:
1) Do you know the problem above?
2) Can I have 3 more Days to try again?

Without more details on "refuse to write to disk", it is hard to answer your questions. What does the log say?
As for "more time", you are probably up against the fact that the current beta test key has expired, and Mike hasn't replaced it. You can "fix" that temporarily by setting your system date back to January 29, start MakeMKV, then reset the date to today.

Wait for the new key to be released http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1053 or backdate your system.
You likely need to run MakeMKV as an Administrator to write the file to disk.
