It looks like this is a plug-in laptop BD drive, and not particularly fast, so it should not be going off-line due to speed. Is it just this disk that you are having issues with, or have other disks started having errors?

Something is causing the drive to report an error, then go off-line. Fingerprints and other stuff on the disk usually won't take it off-line. It might be worth while to clean the drive by blowing out any dust.

It's a new drive I just got and he DVD is new out of the shrink wrap and was only put in there for the fire time ever iused.
