Plans to provide mkv settings for ripping DVD/BD?

Are there any plans to provide some settings for ripping DVD/BD? E.g. reducing the bandwidth to 12000Mb/s during the processing of makemkv?
I have to re-encode some files created by makemkv with Handbrake to decrease bandwidth. It would be great to do this on-the-fly when ripping the BD/DVD with makemkv.
