[Feature Request} Insert fps into video

#1 Post by kjhgshadow » Sun Apr 11, 2010 11:19 pm

I am having a problem with certain players like mplayer (Linux) not capable of watching the output from makemkv because no fps is set in the mkv or m2ts (backup)

I can force it to work by using "-fps 23.976" on the command line but that is annoying if I want to use the gui. Or re-muxing with tsMuxer

If it is not much work could makemkv insert the frame rate like tsMuxer would so it saves me a ~25 minute process on each movie.

My final target for movies is m2ts (for PS3) so if it could be a option for the backup process it would be best.

Hi, what does mediainfo report about the mkv/m2ts? mplayer has no problems on files produced on my system.

MakeMKV sets FPS information in MKV file.
