Backup and region code

Hello,

quick question; I want to make a physical copy of a bluray with regional code A in order to be played in a bluray player with regional code B. Does the backup option delete the regional code restriction or is that backup created with the regional code of the original bluray?

If you open the disk and save to MKV, there is no region coding left.

Doing a backup, cannot say. Experimentation will tell... From what I've seen of region coding, it's enforced in the player more than anything else, by having it display "this isn't for your region" tracks if things are wrong. The video itself seems to be the same.
