#1 Post by cocoon » Fri Apr 02, 2010 4:32 pm

When running /usr/bin/makemkv with root user I'm getting the follow message:

Code: Select all

Application Failed to initialize
QGtkStyle was unable to detect the current GTK+ theme.
Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported

(process:5067): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_style_get: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(process:5067): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_style_get: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
Is there any configuration missing ? I'm runing Fedora 12.

Tks

I got the same error with normal user.

Your right. I'm running the buggy version 4.6.2.

Seems I have to wait a little bit.

Thanks !

I think your issue can easily be solved once you update it to the most recent version. Also, the version which you are using which is the 4.6.2 had been known to have some bugs. The 4.6.4 is a safe bet or you could try the most recent versions which should be bug free.
