missing properties section/field

Hello,

I have an odd issue...

On one of my systems (win7 x64) with makemkv v1.9.7, in the user interface, the Properties field is missing.

On a properly working system, after I open a disc or open a file, on the left side there is the list of titles, on the right there are sections for:
Output Folder
Properties
Info

But, on this one system, the only sections on the right are:
Output Folder
Info

The "Properties" section/field isn't displayed at all.

It's been this way for the last 10 releases... as far back as I can remember anyway ... with each upgrade I hoped it would be fixed. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still no change. Very odd.

If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Mike will have to address this, as I have no way of duplicating it to make suggestions. There does not seem to be any user-accessible preference that would cause this.

What is the resolution of the display on the system in question? I do not know that it matters, but it is possible that the program makes adjustments when the screen size is below some minimum. Again, I have no way of testing that.

Hello,

The screen resolution is 1680x1050. There is no change in behavior whether makemkv is running in a resizable window or full-screen.

Preferences -> General -> Expert mode

No wonder I couldn't replicate it.... I never thought to turn Expert mode off!
