The Sword in the Stone Blu Ray (Cannot be Decrypted)

Hello

New to the Makemkv Forum! If any one can help it would be much appreciated.

I am having a problem with The Sword in the Stone (Disney Movie) Blu Ray Copy

I have had no problems with any other Blu Ray Movies up until now, MKV just keeps saying ( Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive Highest AACS version is v53 , MKB saved as /Users/adamnicholls/Library/MakeMKV/MKB_v53_LAST_KNIGHTS.tgz The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted) I have copied the log debug messages below.

Things start to go downhill here:
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00514.m2ts' at offset '52955136'
When trying to read part of the disk that MakeMKV needs to set up the key exchange, the drive said it couldn't read the disk.

Any scratches (even minor) or dirt near the hub of the disk?

Thanks for your reply.

Nope the disk has no damage it is in perfect condition, I even brought a second copy to check if the first disk was actually faulty but the same thing happened again! Ive tried out other films to see if it was my drive that was faulty but everything else is fine and never had a problem in the past! Its rather annoying me though!!

I have the same problem with this disc, is there any info I can give that will enable MakeMKV to copy it?

I have just tried to use MakeMKV on this Blu Ray and encountered the same problem. Any updates on this?

And what version of MakeMKV are you on? Your log states:

"Highest AACS version is v57 , MKB saved as /Users/david/Library/MakeMKV/MKB_v57_THE_FORCE_AWAKENS.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted"

As of version 1.10.2, it supports up to v62. If you're not on the latest version (now 1.10.3), you need to upgrade.

"Highest AACS version" refers the highest version the particular installation has SEEN, not the highest version the running program supports.

Googled around and found this, posted earlier this year with reply by Woodstock, beginning to look like a disc-specific issue?

Thank you for that post about Looney Tunes. I was able to backup the HD and then make the MKV from that. Not sure why it can read it to back it up but not to read it directly but it worked anyway so thank you.
