Far from the Madding Crowd, AACS v50, BD+ v2015.5

Hello,

I have "Far from the Madding Crowd". AACS info is: AACS v50, BD+ v2015.5. After scanning it the output is listed at the bottom. There was a pop-up message, "BD+ code processed but no FUTs were obtained, errors may follow". I tried attaching the dump file (8.8MB), but the the BB system seems to puke on it.

Because of the pop-up message, I'm making a complete disc backup, and leaving it encrypted.

Should I be concerned with this?

Don't worry - 8.8 MB should get through to Mike.

As for the backup... if your player software understands BD data and can decode the BD+ programming, it may work.

I run MakeMKV on a Mac & use XBMC as my media player. Ultimately I just want an MKV for use with XBMC.

This is a new version of BD+ . We are working on it, the ETA is unknown

I have had the exact same error with this blu-ray.

I tried ignoring it but when I played back the resultant mkv file the picture was distorted.

Is there anything that can be done, or do I need to wait for a fix?

Because of the nature of BD+, it's got to wait for Mike to create an SVQ for it.

I tried making a BU of the HD DVD today, September 2, 2015, and still get a lot of tiling on the final video.

Fixed for some disc versions - for ones we've got the dumps for. If your disc still doesn't work, then please send the dump as usual. Make sure the dump is created by 1.9.6 or 1.9.7 .

I'm encountering the same problems with the German version of "Far from the Madding Crowd". I've sent a dump file to svq@makemkv.com. I'm running the most recent version of makemkv (1.9.7) and the program has obviously downloaded all recent SVQs but none of the seem to apply here. I'm hoping for a new SVQ file. Thanks a lot in advance!
