U2 360° ate the Rose Bowl

#1 Post by Browsercheck » Sun Sep 06, 2015 7:37 pm

Cannot decode the BD. Decoding stops to save the MKV on aprox. 487 MB.
Is there a solution?

Possibly. But, without information on what errors you're receiving, it's awfully hard to guess.

See the FAQ in my signature for more information on how to help us help you.

Sorry it took so long for my answer...
Of course you need some more informations. Here is the errorlog:

The disk is OK, there are no scratches and in my BR-Player I can play and look the disk.

Thank for your help.

Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:UNRECOVERED READ ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00000.m2ts' at offset '613871616'
Hardware can't read disk.

Just because it "plays in BD player" does not mean the disk has no flaws... BD players, like DVD players, are programmed to ignore errors.

You can try cleaning and waxing the disk; I find it works for most "defective" disks my relatives return to me. I use furniture polish (Pledge brand, specifically). Spray on, rub in with a CLEAN finger until it starts to dry, then wipe off with a clean cotton or microfibre cloth.

Anything it does not "fix" probably needs proper resurfacing.
