Poltergeist 2015 Getting the "BD+ code processed but not FUT

#1 Post by hengst2404 » Tue Sep 29, 2015 10:35 pm

Okay so as my topic started to say, for the first time, for me, I got the "BD+ code processed but not FUTs were obtained, errors may follow" error. It did not create any type of error file, just said that some errors may be present and when I played the video it is all sorts of messed up, pixelation issues, etc. Completely unwatchable.

Same here. It has to do with the encryption of the video, and I don't think there's anything we can do but wait.

http://www.makemkv.com/svq/ has information about the error itself.

When the error pops up, there should be a path to a .tgz file, and a note to send it in for analysis. The address is in the link above.

Mike has to analyze the BD+ programming and build the work-around. The .tgz file has what he needs.

I was just able to rip Poltergeist after the latest update. My thanks to Mike for a swift resolution!

@friggy31

I know in the past when I have seen this, one is usually a theatrical cut and the other is a directors or extended cut.

I have also noticed on occasion if the movie has an alternate ending, the longer one (larger file) will usually be the case as well but only if it's done as an alternate ending version playlist.

Sometimes though, the alternate endings are included as 'Bonus Features' which ranks as 'meh' in my book on the account of the lacking of seamless play as an alternate ending playlist would offer.

Poltergeist (2015)

T00 (800.mpls) is 1:33:41 at 28.9 GB - Theatrical Cut

T01 (801.mpls) is 1:40:53 at 31.1 GB - Extended Cut

I hope this helps.
