can't build makemkv v 1.9.5 on linux mint 17

when I try to build makemkv i get the following error.

to:
-lQtDBus -lpthread -lz -lrt

Much easier to do this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:heyarje/makemkv-beta
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install makemkv-bin makemkv-oss
