Disk works in DVD player but 1.9.4 says now disk after trying to load it. Everything else has worked but this one.

MIB II wont read
Re: MIB II wont read
Activate debug logging (see the FAQ in my signature for how) and post the results of MakeMKV scanning the disk.
Most likely, the directory structure has enough unreadable sectors that the drive or operating system are giving up on the disk, and report "no disk" to MakeMKV. Cleaning may help.

This is all I got.
Debug log started at Sun Jul 05 15:52:12 2015 , written by MakeMKV v1.9.4 win(x64-release)
Using 524544KB for read cache.
001005:0000 MakeMKV v1.9.4 win(x64-release) started
001004:0000 Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as C:\Users\Malchesky/MakeMKV_log.txt
Application exited at Sun Jul 05 15:59:57 2015
I got the same message of no disk.

Re: MIB II wont read
And you've successfully ripped other disks in the same session as the problem disk?
I ask because SOME TIMES, Windows will decide to not tell MakeMKV a disk has been inserted. And it will continue to refuse to do so until it (Windows) is restarted. When it has one of these tantrums, though, it will usually refuse to show ANY disk changes, not just for a single disk.
When you are dealing with external drives, unplugging and replugging it often works.
But, there have been instances where Windows will do this with an internal drive, and a physical reset (either use of the RESET button or powering down) is necessary to get the drive hardware back on line.

Re: MIB II wont read
Yes ripped others with no trouble. I have tried several times without success.
Its an internal drive in a tower pc. I have ripped 143 dvds so far without any issues until this one.
Its just so odd.

Re: MIB II wont read
When you change the disk, does the icon for "open" show the drive closing, then start "spinning" as the disk is initially logged in?
While it isn't logged, if MakeMKV is talking to the drive, the icon should show the tray extended when it is open. When you close it, the tray should show closed, and the disk spinning as Windows loads it. At the end of that time, Windows either gives the intial information to MakeMKV, or returns "no disk".

Re: MIB II wont read
Yes the icon works and the disc image looks like it is spinning. It then stops and says no disc. So very strange.
Like I said I have done over 140 discs already without any issues, this is the only one.
Thanks for the help.

Re: MIB II wont read
I am getting this randomly. I've ripped 350 dvd's so far, but every once in a while makemkv will say no disk inserted, or more regularly, it simply fails to read the disk after a half hour of trying. It's actually doing it as I type this with Salt.
each time it fails I use Freemake video converter which works perfectly.
I think that says there is no problem with the disk, so how do you determine what is wrong with makemkv?
If you send in an error file where do i find that?
Sometimes, if you try several times, shutting down the programme in between tries, it eventually works.
