how can i move my Starwars blue ray to my tablet
Re: how can i move my Starwars blue ray to my tablet
You're assuming that tablets can view high-definition content without major work. It's logical to assume that, given the advertising, but it isn't true.
You need to process the MKV files through something that will re-encode them in ways understandable to the tablet. I use Handbrake (from handbrake.fr), which has different preset options for dealing with Apple and Android tablets, taking into account hardware limitations.
Content is ripped with MakeMKV to MKV files, then Handbrake processes it. I use options to generate files for best viewing on a TV, and settings for adequate viewing on my tablet. "Adequate" because the tablet generally cannot handle multiple language tracks, and definitely doesn't like BD or DVD subtitles, unless they are "burned in" to the video.

Re: how can i move my Starwars blue ray to my tablet
The plan was to use makeMKV to try and rip the file, realizing that it could be 40gig or whatever, and the use 123 copy dvd to create a file that was smaller and usable.
I can;t get MakeMKV to read the starwars blue ray disk. it keeps showing 8 angle files all the same size but the first four all seem to fail when being read. shild I try the other 4 just to be sure or AM i doing something wrong.

Follow the information in the FAQ in my signature, and try the rip again. The debug log will have a lot more information than "it failed", so that we can maybe figure this out. Others have ripped the Star Wars BDs, so it's not impossible to do.
If you have the space, rip all the titles shown. Sometimes you get "fake titles" with out-of-sequence scenes, sometimes the different "angles" have different titles/credits to match a particular language.
